The medium can be added pure or diluted 1:1 with water, for example. Adding Sirius Acrylic Medium Matt increases the film strength, which is recommended when heavily diluting or painting over several times. The deep matt surface of the Sirius acrylic colours is not affected by the addition of medium, however. Other Lascaux colours, on the other hand, become more matt when medium is added.
