This material allows oil painting to be approached differently. It extends the artist's freedom of expression, allowing a greater degree of spontaneity, of "expressionism". The Oil Stick is a composition of oil paint. A proportion of the oil is substituted with a neutral mineral wax, resulting in the stick appearance.These colours are of perfect quality: pure pigments are ground into vegetable oils (siccatives), selected for their low degree of yellowing with time. The choice and high concentration of pigments enables excellent light resistance to be achieved. These colours are applied discreetly to conventional oil painting supports (oil-proof or universal) and demand quality background preparation. Supports: canvas, canvas boards, laminated panels, paper. Solid oil paint should be applied in a relatively thin film (no more than 1mm). Layers can be overlapped, in the same manner as paste oil paint, and can, if necessary, be thinned with petroleum or turpentine. Before use, the surface film should be removed. This latter will re-form after a few days of non-use. Paint applied dries within 2 to 5 days depending on layer thickness and atmospheric conditions. A clear medium is available allowing transparency and glazing effects to be achieved. Solid artists' quality colours are available in opaque or transparent shades, depending on the shades of the pigments used. The product may be stored for extended periods of time and requires no special attention, apart from avoiding heat sources that may damage it.Once dry, the paint may be varnished like conventional oil paint, after a minimum drying period of 6 months, using an oil paint finishing varnish.

Unsere Farben sind auch nach Epochen der Pigmentgeschichte gruppiert: Klassik, Impressionismus und 20. Jahrhundert Jahrhundert. Im Laufe der Kunstgeschichte waren Gemälde immer ein Spiegelbild der Materialien, die Künstlern zur Verfügung standen. Mineralfarben Die mineralische Seite der Farbkarte umfasst Farben, die aus anorganischen Pigmenten, also aus der Erde ausgegrabenen Metallerzen, hergestellt werden. Bei vielen dieser Pigmente wird ihre Farbe in Öfen bei sehr hoher Hitze entwickelt. Unten auf der Mineralseite des Diagramms ist die Gruppe der Erdfarben, die das Herzstück der Malerpaletten der Klassik bildete. AV PREMIUM is a safe water-based, non toxic and highly versatile airbrush ready paint, suitable for all surfaces, but especially formulated for superior adhesion to metals, fibreglass, polyethylene, clear Lexanª polycarbonate, slot car and RC bodies, and all tuning and automotive applications. On some of these surfaces we recommend a basecoat of the Polyurethane Primer (62.061) for best results. Premium colors are flexible and exceptionally durable and permit prolonged exposure to weather without fading or losing their brilliance. Premium colors have been formulated with micronized, permanent pigments and an extremely resistant, exterior grade hybrid resin-polyurethane base, which withstands impacts, resists chipping and cracking, as well as direct exposure to heat and outdoor elements without cracking or fading, and is fuel residue proof up to a least 35% Nitro. AV Premium colors have superior flow, they are self-levelling and brush on with exceptional ease. For airbrushing, the colors can be used directly from the bottle when using a nozzle size 0,3. For the metallic colors some dilution might be necessary, and for smaller nozzles (O.2mm or less) the use of the Reducer (62.066) may be required. The recommended compressor setting is 30-60psi (2-4 bar). The range consists of 20 bright opaque colors, 23 dazzling metallics and fluorescents, and 9 shimmering transparent Candy Colors. All colors are as suitable for detail work as for covering large surfaces and can be applied by brush as well as by airbrush. The range is complete with 8 auxiliary products including the Transparent Basecoat and the Reducer, Primer, Varnishes and Drying Retarder. For a automotive refinishing and as an extra protective final coating, we recommend a catalyzed urethane clear varnish (spray can or airbrush). Presentation: All colours are available in 60 ml. and 200 ml. in a plastic bottles with a flip-top cap.
