The original GOLDEN Acrylics line is known for its exceptionally smooth, buttery consistency. It includes the widest range of unique, pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion available to professional artists. These paints offer excellent durability and lightfastness. No fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes have been added.
Each Heavy Body paint is formulated differently depending on the type of pigment. Paints that tolerate a higher pigment "load" produce an opaque, matte finish when dry. Paints that are more reactive and do not tolerate a high amount of pigment have a glossier finish when dry and tend to be more transparent. Heavy Body paints do not contain additives such as matting agents, so the sheen of each color will vary.
