Product information "Permaset Aqua Mediums" Permaset Aqua Media PERMASET TABLE GLUE is a specially formulated pressure sensitive adhesive for fabric printing. Table Glue prevents any movement of the fabric during printing and is easily applied with a brush roller or spray. Table Glue dries quickly and provides a permanently adhesive surface suitable for use on almost any surface. SYNTHETIC FIXER An additive for Permaset printing pastes or fabric printing inks that significantly improves adhesion to substrates that would have poor adhesive properties under normal conditions. Synthetic Fixer is best suited for applications on synthetic materials such as poly/cotton blends, polyester or acrylic fibers. THICKENER is, as the name suggests, a thickener for Permaset printing pastes or fabric printing inks. By adding Permaset Tinters, water, ammonia sulfate solution, synthetic fixer or cold cure additive, the viscosity of the printing medium is reduced. A small addition of Permaset Thickener will return the print media to its original viscosity. PERMASET ANTI-BLEED ADDITIVE is another specialty product designed for applications where print “bleeding” or “hazing” is a concern. Many fabrics are pre-treated by fabric manufacturers either as part of the manufacturing process or to give the finished product a special quality. Unfortunately, this pre-treatment reacts unfavorably with the print media and results in prints that bleed or haze. Adding a small amount of Anti-Bleed Additive will give the print a firmer and more solid definition. PERMASET FABRIC SOFTENER is an additive used when a softer feel to the finished print is desired. Some fabrics require a softer print due to their delicate nature and so fabric softener is the perfect way to achieve a “softer feel.” Fabric softener can also be used in conjunction with the use of Permaset Synthetic Fixer and/or Permaset Cold Cure Additive, as these additives tend to stiffen the feel of a print.PERMASET PRINT RETARDER is designed to slow down the drying process of the Permaset product. This has the benefit of delaying the drying of the Permaset product on the screen, thus preventing screen clogging. Print retarders are also beneficial for printing, as they allow for easier separation of the screen from the print during the printing process.
