You can crate semi-absorbent ground like watercolour paper for acrylics, watercolours and pencils.
Apply thin layers to create the ground and always allow the previous layer to completely dry before applying additional layers, if neccesary.
Do not dilue with water, paint on oily surfaces or mix Holbein Paper Texture Paste with petroleum, turpentine or oil color.
