Watercolor Ground 

Creates an absorbent surface that allows for soft edges and fluid wet-on-wet techniques. Can be brushed on for a linen-like texture, rolled on for a speckled effect, or scraped smooth with a palette knife. Can also be lightly wet sanded to achieve a smoothness similar to a hot-pressed finish. Can be applied to many different materials including canvas and panels. Watercolor Ground dries to a lightfast, flexible surface that can withstand repeated lifting and scrubbing.
