Product information "Sennelier retouching varnish TURNER 400ml" 

It is used as a temporary protective varnish to protect the painting against dust or during transport. Because it is very diluted, it does not "suffocate" the image and does not slow down oxidation too much. The effect weakens over time. 

Light, quick-drying varnish based on dammar. For removing matte areas of the image or for resuming painting on dry layers of paint. Can be used as a temporary intermediate varnish for oil paintings.
