Wir haben in unserer hauseigenen Werkstatt in der Bornemannstraße 10 in Berlin einen separaten Stoffraum für Sie eingerichtet in dem wir nicht nur sämtliche im Angebot befindlichen Gewebe auf Lager haben, sondern auch Zuschnitte vornehmen.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass wir nur Meterware (laufende Meter) verkaufen, d.h. auch die auf unserer Website ausgewiesenen Preise sind pro laufender Meter, nicht pro Quadratmeter.
Folgende Stoffe haben wir für Sie in grundierter und ungrundierter Form vorrätig:
- Baumwolle
- Leinen
- Jute
- Polyester (nur grundiert)
Alle genannten Stoffe erhalten Sie bei uns in verschiedenen Grammaturen und Qualitäten. Ausschlaggebend ist zum Einen die Dichte des Gewebes, d.h., wieviel Meter Stoff kommen auf eine bestimmte Menge des betreffenden Gewebes. Wir führen Gewebe in leichten, beispielsweise 160 g/m², und dichten, beispielsweise 290 g/m², Grammaturen.
Für die Weiterbearbeitung spielt die Grammatur eine entscheidende Rolle. Dichtere Gewebe sind besser für die Grundierung und das Malen/dem Streichen mit unterschiedlichen Farben, da sich der Stoff unter Umständen verziehen kann bzw. sich die Oberfläche wellt und ggf. neu bespannt werden muss.
Je nach Maltechnik und je nachdem, ob Sie für Ihre Werke Pasten oder Effekte nutzen, ob Sie Malen oder Streichen bieten wir Ihnen außerdem unterschiedliche Fadenstärken an, von fein über mittel-fein, mittel-grob zu grob. Wir beraten Sie sehr gern entsprechend Ihrer individuellen Ansprüche.
Woher unsere Gewebe kommen
Nur wenige Firmen spezialisieren sich auf Stoffe für die Malerei / für Profi-Künstler. Da im Besonderen die Stoffe für die Modeindustrie anderen Standards unterliegen, haben wir uns entschieden mit den Spezialisten für die Malerei und Kunst zusammenzuarbeiten.
